Disney's Old Key West Resort

Here are some photos from Disney's Old Key West Resort, my husband took these photos early January when he was down for runDisneys Marathon weekend.

We have stayed here a few times and absolutely love it. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are generally larger then most other resorts and my kids LOVE the sand castle water slide.

The sit down restaurant, Olivia’s Cafe , is wonderful. We really enjoy the laid back atmosphere and have had a few lovely family meals here. One thing to note is that the counter service, Good's Food to Go,  seating is located outside,  we really enjoy the picnic tables for a fun lunch when hanging by the pool but in cooler weather have taken our meal to our room.

There is also a boat ride to Disney Springs which is super convenient and my kids love the boat ride as if it was another Disney attraction ride ; ) For the rest of the Disney parks there are buses available.

There is also a golf course that goes throughout the resort which makes for some lovely room views.

Disney's Art of Animation

Earlier this month when I attended the first Canadian Earmarked Agent Education Program at Walt Disney World in Florida I had the pleasure of touring Disney's Art of Animation Resort hotel. Disney's Art of Animation is in the value category and has four themed wings; Cars, Finding Nemo, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.

Here are a few of the photos I took along the tour.....

We ate lunch at the hotels counter service restaurant - Landscape of Flavors.

One of the fantastic benefits at this hotel is the option for larger families to stay in a suite. You can see a room layout hereFamily suites include a bedroom with one queen-size bed; one double-size convertible TableBed; one double-size sleeper sofa; living room; 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette - They can accommodate up to 6 people.

Here are a couple photos I took in a Finding Nemo suite...
